^Lot 3078 WINCHESTER 1873 THIRD MODEL RIMFIRE LEVER ACTION

RIFLE. Cal. 22 Long. S# 274760B. Bbl. 24" rnd., with sporting sights. Full length mag. Blued finish, with case colored hammer and lever. Walnut forearm and straight grip stock, with crescent steel buttplate. Mfg. in 1888. CONDITION: metal finish has faded to brown, showing handling marks and spots of light pitting. Dust cover screw and other action screws show some screwdriver distortion. Dust cover fails to fully retract when action is cycled. Stocks have a light coat of added finish over wear and handling marks. Dark leaded bore has mostly intact rifling. (01-27069/DS). ANTIQUE. $3,000-4,000.
